Events insurance is intended to protect businesses and professionals running events such as concerts, festivals, corporate functions, theatre productions, fundraisers, exhibitions, dance parties and trade shows.
Who is it for?
Anyone who runs events in the hospitality or entertainment industry including event and stage managers, coordinators, promoters, organisers and sound and light operators.
What does it cover?
Event insurance covers many risks involved with running events:
- Cancellation: losses that result from cancelled events due to weather or non-appearance of performers
- Damage: loss as a result of equipment or venue damage
- Public & Products Liability: claims made by third parties relating to property damage or personal injury
What doesn’t it cover?
